Series 880M/879M/8857M 880M/879M/8857M Series Available Materials: • Plastic • Magnetic System • Chains Flexon Plastic Magnetic System Chains also run in the new Flexon Dual Magnetic System Curves. Plastic Magnetic System Chains do not have Tab or Bevels, it is the stainless steel pins in the chain which are attracted by the magnets embedded in the Dual Magnetic System Curve. The chain is securely retained in the curve with minimal effect on chain loading. The pin material is a Ferritic Cr-Ni Stainless Steel which is magnetic but also gives very good corrosion and wear resistance. The LF/NG 879 M and LF/NG 8857 chains have thicker top plate, 4.8mm to match the 821,831 and 882 series chains. The 8857 M series chains, have a wider and deeper hinge configuration than the 880 and 881 series chains. This means that they require different, heavy duty curves (reference KMD 4...) Special curves for case conveyors are also available. All Plastic Magnetic System Chains are available in LF Acetal and also in the Flexon NG, New Generation, high performance material.
