820 - 831 Series 820/831 Series Available Materials: • Delrin Acetal • Low Friction Acetal • New Generation • Anti-Static Acetal • Stainless Steel Pins These chains were designed as the plastic alternative to the stainless steel 815 series and consequently share the same basic dimensions. However, plastic chains are not able to withstand the loads carried by steel chains and therefore a central reinforcing bar is featured on the underside. For this reason the sprockets for 820 and 831 chains are grooved to allow for this bar. All 820 and 831 chains feature a special overlapping top plate system of “arcuic” design which has the dual benefit of eliminating the gaps between plates and creating a self clearing action to remove debris or dust. 831 chains have the same hinge and overall dimensions as the 820 series but feature a thicker top plate of 3/16" which makes them compatible in ride height to the 821, 879 and 882 series.
