Base Roller Chains:
• Carbon Steel

These chains have a two-piece
design featuring plastic top
plates which are “snapped on”
to a 1/2" pitch roller chain with
specially extended pins to
retain the plastic top.
The plastic tops design providing
positive retention and
anti-lift when running in thight
radius curves as low as 10''
(254mm).

Guide tracks are usually
manufactured from extruded
aluminium. The 1843 chain
features heavily in conveyers
designed for automotive parts
handling or assembling lines for
electronic goods. For this
reason Top Plates are also
available in Anti-Static material.

The roller chian utilized the
gearing dimensions of ANSI 40-1
but due to the elongated pin is
not a standard chain. When
ordering only the base chain or
connecting links please note the
correct reference number as per
the attached tables.
