815/805 Griptop Series
815/805 Griptop Series
Available Materials:
Specialty Stainless Steels with
vulcanized Rubber Top Pad
Carbon Steel plate material (to order)
These chains were designed to
provide a top plate surface with
a grip effect to allow products to
be inclined on conveyors at an
angle of up to 20°.
The basic chains utilized are the
815 and 805 series in straight running format.
These chains are intended to replace rough
top belting for crate or box handling and
provide the following advantages over
traditional belting:
No slippage due to positive
tooth sprocket drives, one way
clutches are not needed.
Higher loading capacities.
Planned maintenance improved as chain w
ear is easier to monitor than the
tendency of a belt to tear.
Straight running 815 TAB
version also provides a method
of chain return which prevents
the rubber top from having to
run against another surface.
